Bij het breuken delen gebruik je de basisregel: delen door een breuk is vermenigvuldigen met het omgekeerde. Na het omkeren van de breuk waardoor je moet delen maak je de vermenigvuldiging. Bij het vermenigvuldigen dan vermenigvuldig je de tellers met elkaar en je vermenigvuldigt de noemers met elkaar. Als bij de uitkomst de teller groter is dan de noemer, dan moet je er nog helen uithalen. Vervolgens kijk je of je de breuk nog kunt vereenvoudigen.
